Poppy, Alpha, Bravo and Charlie gather around the “water cooler” several times a day. Their chatter is loud and proud. I am not sure what news they are sharing – but it always sounds good. “Your feathers look amazing today; That shade of tan and white makes your eyes shine; Your egg was enormous this morning, way to go girl!” Maybe? It could be.
We have opportunities throughout our day to lift up, to encourage, to inspire someone else, on purpose. If you gather around water coolers at work, lunch rooms, or conference tables at work – if you gather with other parents/families for play dates and library time – if you wander out to restaurants and shops – LOOK for someone to bless with a word of kindness, a gesture of love, a fresh vote of confidence in their effort. Make this your mission today, bless someone with authentic kindness that flows from a heart the loves the Lord.
